Vero Beach to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed Utility Rate Increases

"Notice of Public Hearing – Proposed Utility Rate Increases The City of Vero Beach (the “City”) hereby provides notice that it proposes to increase its utility rates for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water services. The City is facing rising operational costs related to the provision of utility services and must address necessary infrastructure maintenance and improvements to ensure continued reliable service to its customers. A public hearing will be held before the City Council on June 4, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1053 20th Place, Vero Beach, FL 32960, to consider the proposed utility rate increases. All interested parties are invited to attend and provide comments. Copies of the proposed rate schedules and supporting documentation are available for public inspection at the City Clerk’s Office, located at the same address. Questions or inquiries regarding the proposed rate increases may be directed to the City’s Utility Business Office at (772) 978-5100."
