Sioux Center Receives $500K State Tax Credit for Downtown Apartments

Sioux Center secured $500,000 in tax credits from the Iowa Economic Development Authority to build 12 apartments at 141 N. Main Ave.

The state program awards credits based on project feasibility, community need, and economic impact. The tax credits offset development costs for the multi-unit residential building, which will add housing to the downtown core and increase foot traffic for nearby retailers.
