Flora-Bama Named Top 10 Beach Bar by USA Today

The Flora-Bama Lounge and Package, straddling the Alabama-Florida state line at Perdido Key, ranked among the nation's top 10 beach bars in USA Today's 2026 10Best Readers' Choice Awards.

Readers voted for the venue after USA Today travel experts nominated candidates. The Flora-Bama has operated for more than 60 years, hosting live music 365 days a year across multiple stages and drawing visitors for its oyster bar, seafood, and beachfront access.

The establishment is known for the Interstate Mullet Toss and annual Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo. It opened in 1964 and markets itself as America's "Last Great Roadhouse."
