Edgewater residents can purchase their annual parking meter permits starting Monday, Oct. 19, 2026. All permit purchases will be online only this year to streamline the process.

To apply, residents must create an online account at getaPERMIT.net. Applicants need a valid vehicle registration. All outstanding parking citations issued by the City of Redondo Beach must be paid before purchasing a permit. The city requires permits to be purchased by the intended user.

After online purchase, residents must pick up their physical permits in person at the Police Annex Building, 200 N. Pacific Coast Highway. Pickup hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. A valid government-issued ID is required for pickup.

Residents can find more information, including frequently asked questions and a user guide, on the City’s Parking Permits webpage. Review this information before Oct. 19 to ensure a smooth transaction.
