Pasco County Commissioners to Discuss Comprehensive Plan Amendments
"PUBLIC NOTICE
PASCO COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing to consider the following proposed amendments to the Pasco County Comprehensive Plan:
Policy FLU 1.1.6: Increasing the maximum residential density within the Urban Service Area.
Policy FLU 4.3: Revising the policies related to compatibility between residential development and adjacent agricultural activities.
SAID HEARING will be held on April 23, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Robert K. Sumner Governmental Center, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, Florida 34654.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS may appear and be heard at the Public Hearing. The Board of County Commissioners may take action at the Public Hearing to adopt, adopt with modifications, or reject the proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments. The proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments are available for public inspection at the Pasco County Planning and Development Department, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, Florida 34654. All affected property owners may ascertain how their property will be affected by contacting the Pasco County Planning and Development Department.
ANY PERSON requiring special accommodations at this meeting because of a disability or physical impairment should contact the Pasco County Customer Service at (727) 847-2411, or through the Florida Relay System at 711, at least five (5) days prior to the meeting.
ANY PERSON who decides to appeal any decision of the Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter considered at the Public Hearing will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
