
Walmart, Trader Joe's Berries Recalled in Ocoee for E. coli
Walmart and Trader Joe's are recalling certain frozen organic berry products due to potential E. coli O145 contamination. Consumers should check their freezers and return affected items for a refund.

Ocoee residents who purchased specific frozen organic berry products from Walmart and Trader Joe's should check their freezers. A widespread recall has been expanded to include additional lots of popular frozen berry blends due to potential E. coli O145 contamination.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported that Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A. expanded its recall of frozen IQF blueberries and berry blends. The expansion affects specific lots of Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend, Great Value Organic Blueberries, and Trader Joe’s Mix Berry Blend.
The affected Walmart products include 10 oz. packages of Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend (UPC: 7874211226) with lot codes 6 031 01 and 6 041 01. Also recalled are 10 oz. packages of Great Value Organic Blueberries (UPC: 7874211213) with lot codes 6 019 01, 6 040 01, and 6 163 01.
Trader Joe’s recalled item is the 12 oz. Organic Mixed Berry Blend (UPC: 00977654) with lot code 6 051 01.
The Great Value frozen fruit went to Walmart stores in 30 states and Puerto Rico. Trader Joe's recalled fruit went to select stores in 26 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled frozen fruit should not consume it. The FDA recommends returning the product to Walmart or Trader Joe's for a full refund.
