Nominate Ocoee First Responders for Candlebox Tickets

Ocoee residents can recognize local heroes through 98.9 WMMO’s First Responder Friday program. The radio station seeks nominations for dedicated first responders serving the community.

Each Friday, Joe Rock will highlight a local first responder and present a weekly prize. This week’s prize, awarded to an honoree selected between Sept. 21 and Sept. 25, is a pair of tickets to see the rock band Candlebox at The Plaza Live in Orlando on Oct. 14.

To nominate a first responder, residents can share their story and complete the official entry form online. The nomination period for this week’s prize runs from Sept. 21 to Sept. 25, 2026. A single winner will be chosen by random drawing.

The contest is open to Florida residents 18 and older residing in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Polk, Flagler, Volusia, or Brevard Counties. No purchase is necessary.
