GRANTS PASS, Ore. (May 20, 2024) – Dutch Bros Coffee and its customers raised more than $1.5 million on May 17 for local youth organizations! One hundred percent of proceeds from all Dutch Bros locations were donated to organizations dedicated to providing resources for education, extracurricular activities and other programs. “We are so grateful for our customers, broistas and communities who show up every year for Drink One for Dane,” said Christine Barone, CEO of Dutch Bros Coffee. “The impact of this day is felt year-round as local organizations are able to provide opportunities and resources for youth.” The funds were raised during the 17th annual Drink One for Dane day, honoring Dane Boersma, one of the company’s co-founders who passed away from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2009. Each year, Dutch Bros donates proceeds from one day of sales to the Muscular Dystrophy Association to fund research and treatment for ALS. In 2023, Dutch Bros expanded the impact of the day to also support local youth organizations. Dutch Bros locations across the country partner with local organizations in their communities. Crystal River KOA Hosts Care Camps Big Weekend to Support Kids with Cancer

Every year, KOA Campgrounds across North America participate in Care Camps Big Weekend. When you stay at any participating KOA campground on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, you get Saturday night for just $20!* That’s right, stay Friday & Saturday night, and Saturday is only $20! *Not valid with any other discounts. Participating locations only. May not be valid for all site types. Call the campground for details. Since 1984, KOA has supported Care Camps, a network of medically supervised camps where kids with cancer can go to just be kids. It’s a place where they can forget about their illness for a while and have fun. These camps also provide a place for families to connect and support each other. KOA owners and campers like you have raised over $17 million to support Care Camps. These camps offer a true escape – a place where kids fighting cancer can leave behind the isolation of hospital rooms and medical treatments and get back to what being a kid is all about. Best of all, it’s a place where they can connect with others who know exactly what they’re going through. Over the May 10-12 weekend, campers across North America will be helping kids with cancer attend these special camps. Every dollar raised during Care Camps Big Weekend will help send these kids to camp. So come on out and enjoy a weekend of camping and help make a difference in the life of a child with cancer! Book your site today!
