Plantation Mourns Longtime Resident Betty Ann Ozelas, Passing on August 15, 2026

Plantation mourns the loss of longtime resident Betty Ann Ozelas, who passed away on August 15, 2026. Her death marks the end of a life deeply rooted in both her New Jersey origins and her adopted home in Plantation.

Ozelas was a familiar presence in the area, having established her life in Plantation after moving from the Garden State. Her contributions enriched the community, and her passing leaves a void for those who knew her.

Originally from Hackensack and Lodi, New Jersey, Ozelas carried her heritage with her to Plantation. Her status as a "longtime resident" underscores her significant connection to the area.

T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home handled the arrangements for Betty Ann Ozelas. Services provided an opportunity for friends and neighbors to pay their respects and celebrate her life.
