Trout Homers at Yankee Stadium, Angels Defeat Yankees

The Los Angeles Angels defeated the New York Yankees 7-3. Angels outfielder Mike Trout hit two solo home runs, recording his 21st career multi-homer game. This marked the first instance of a visiting player hitting two home runs at Yankee Stadium in a single game since 2013.

Trout's first home run came in the first inning off Yankees pitcher Nestor Cortes. He added his second home run in the fifth inning, also off Cortes. Trout finished the game 2-for-4 with two runs batted in. The Angels' victory maintained their position in the American League standings.
