CDC Estimates 1 in 88 U.S. Children Identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study estimates that 1 in 88 children living in the United States have been identified as having an autism spectrum disorder, according to findings released today.

The study analyzed data collected from 14 communities across the country. Researchers reviewed records to identify children diagnosed with ASD.
