City Commission to Vote on Economic Advisory Board Appointments
The North Port City Commission will consider appointing Tony Giannotti and Lisa Rodriguez to the Community Economic Advisory Board on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026. Both candidates would serve a three-year term.

The North Port City Commission expects to appoint Tony Giannotti and Lisa Rodriguez to the Community Economic Advisory Board during its regular meeting Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026.
If approved, Giannotti and Rodriguez will begin their first terms on the board that day, serving until Oct. 6, 2029. The board advises the city on economic development initiatives.
The proposed appointments are agenda item 4.P under the consent agenda. Giannotti's application and resume are available as exhibits.
The meeting begins at 10 a.m. in City Hall.
