North Palm Beach Council: Landscaping, Vehicles, Tech Vote
The North Palm Beach Village Council meets Tuesday, October 8, to consider a $200,000 landscaping contract, more than $1 million in new vehicles, and a new technology package for public safety. The council will also appoint a member to the Waterways Board.

The North Palm Beach Village Council will meet Tuesday, October 8, at 6 p.m. in Village Hall Council Chambers to consider key approvals and purchases. The agenda includes financial decisions, personnel appointments, and committee updates.
Council members will vote on a blanket purchase order with Precision Landscape Company for landscaping and grounds maintenance services. The order will not exceed $200,000 for Fiscal Year 2027.
The council also will review two major vehicle purchases: a 2027 Peterbilt front-loader truck costing $392,496 from Peterbilt Store South Florida LLC, and a group purchase of 10 vehicles for the Police, Fire Rescue, Public Works, and Community Development departments totaling $611,926.60.
Further financial matters include a sole-source purchase from Axon Enterprises, Inc. for body-worn cameras, a drone system, and a digital evidence management system. This package, which integrates an existing Taser agreement, will cost $249,715.72 in Fiscal Year 2027.
The council will also consider including the Village Manager in the Fiscal Year 2027 Cost of Living Adjustment, effective October 1, 2026, and adopting a revised Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual for Internal Controls.
In governance, the council will appoint one resident to the Waterways Board. They will also discuss recommendations from the Charter Review Committee for amendments to the Village Charter.
