Five high school seniors from North Fort Myers have been named Semifinalists in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program. This distinction places them among the top scholars nationwide, representing less than one percent of all high school seniors.
The School District of Lee County announced the academic achievement of these students. Semifinalists are selected based on their scores on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
The students, from communities across North Fort Myers, demonstrated outstanding intellectual ability and potential. Their selection reflects their hard work, rigorous coursework, and commitment to academic excellence.
The National Merit Scholarship Program will announce Finalists in February 2027. Scholarship winners will be named in the spring of 2027.
