The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting Active Shooter Training at Plantation Key School, located at 7000行 Overseas Highway. The training will take place on Wednesday, July 24th and Thursday, July 25th, 2024. There will be a large law enforcement presence in the area during these exercises. The training will involve realistic scenarios, including simulated gunfire and role-playing. The purpose of the training is to prepare law enforcement officers for potential threats and to enhance their response capabilities.
