Halifax County Hiring Full-Time Paramedic | EMT Jobs

Halifax County is hiring a full-time Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic. The position pays $42,679 to start, with salary adjustments based on qualifications.

Applicants must hold a high school diploma, valid Virginia driver's license, and three years of emergency medical services experience. Required certifications include VAOEMS/National Registry Paramedic, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

The county will conduct criminal background checks, pre-employment physicals, and substance testing for selected candidates.
