Sarasota Elections Office Wins 3 National Awards
The Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections office won two Clearinghouse Awards and an honorable mention from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission for programs implemented during the 2025 election cycle.
The federal agency recognized "The Logic & Accuracy Show: Turning Compliance into Choreography" for election administration and "150 Feet of Clarity: Proactive Outreach for a Positive Voting Experience" for communications. The office also earned an honorable mention for "Clarity Meets Accessibility: A Unified Signage System for Voters."
The U.S. Election Assistance Commission judged submissions on innovation, sustainability, outreach, cost-effectiveness, replicability and results. The Clearinghouse Awards program, in its 10th year, recognizes best practices in election administration nationwide.
"We continually seek new ways to improve the voter experience and strengthen the integrity of our election processes," Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner said.
