NSB Police: Overdose, Trespass Warning & 2 Crashes

New Smyrna Beach police officers handled a suspected overdose, issued a trespass warning and responded to two traffic crashes on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2026.

New Smyrna Beach police officers responded to multiple calls Saturday, Sept. 13, 2026, including a suspected overdose, a trespass warning and two traffic incidents.

At approximately 5:16 a.m., officers responded to a suspected overdose at 511 Mary Ave. An adult female was transported to the hospital.

Later that morning, around 8:45 a.m., officers issued a trespass warning to an adult male at 299 S. Riverside Drive for violating a city ordinance.

Police documented a suspicious incident in the 1100 block of Adams Ave. at 9:24 a.m.

At 12:04 p.m., officers responded to a hit-and-run traffic crash at 201 Buenos Aires St. The two-vehicle incident resulted in minor damage and no injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

At 4:26 p.m., a two-vehicle traffic crash at SR 44 and S. Glencoe Road resulted in minor damage and no injuries. Police issued a citation.

The New Smyrna Beach Police Department recorded 157 calls for service on Saturday.
