Lake Helen Methodist Welcomes New Pastor & Music Director

Lake Helen Methodist Church has added two new staff members to its team. Pastor Debbie McLeod and Director of Music Ministries Deboarah (Debi) Johnson are now serving the congregation.

Pastor Debbie McLeod began her service July 1, 2022. She previously served churches in Pierson, Seville and Ormond Beach. McLeod graduated from Florida Southern College and Asbury Theological Seminary. She aims to connect people with God and the community.

Deboarah (Debi) Johnson joins as the Director of Music Ministries. Johnson has extensive experience leading vocal and handbell choirs. Her expertise is expected to enhance the church's music program.

Stacey Merchant continues as Church Administrator, a role she has held since November 2021. She contributes significant knowledge and experience to her administrative duties.

The church staff focuses on serving the Lake Helen community and connecting individuals through faith and fellowship.
