Plans submitted to OSFM Date submitted to OSFM A copy of the house plan (or, for multi-family, the approved building plan) must be submitted to the Town of Calera before a permit is issued. A site plan — a digital rendering or graph paper — must show the approximate location of the building with measurements from boundaries, ROW and any other structures on the site (not to exact scale for single houses or duplexes; other multi-family needs a scaled site plan). Lot surveys are required for all new builds; for new subdivisions with a recorded plat, individual lot surveys are not required.
