Wind Advisory Issued: Gusts Up To 55 MPH Expected
A Wind Advisory is in effect for Western Millard, Juab, Eastern Juab/Millard Counties, Sevier Valley, Southwest Utah, Upper Sevier River Valleys, and Bryce Canyon Country from Saturday at 3 AM to Sunday at 6 AM MDT, with gusts up to 55 mph expected.
Residents in Western Millard, Juab, Eastern Juab/Millard Counties, Sevier Valley, Southwest Utah, Upper Sevier River Valleys, and Bryce Canyon Country should secure loose outdoor objects immediately. A Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Salt Lake City UT, effective from 3 AM Saturday, October 10th, until 6 AM MDT Sunday, October 11th.
South winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are expected. This could cause power outages, move loose debris, and damage property. Travel will be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles and those towing trailers. The NWS also notes a High Wind Watch will follow, with potential gusts exceeding 60 mph from Sunday morning through late Sunday night.
