The United States Postal Service has announced leadership changes, with Michael J. Elston taking on a new role. In his capacity, Elston will oversee human resources functions for the Postal Service’s approximately 630,000 employees.
“Michael brings a wealth of human resources leadership experience to the Postal Service,” Postmaster General Louis DeJoy said. “His proven track record in developing and implementing successful HR strategies will be invaluable as we continue to transform our organization and invest in our employees.”
Elston has more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience, holding senior positions at large retail, healthcare, and financial services companies. He most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer for a major retail company.
