Elizabeth Holmes Doc Trailer: Family & Innocence Claims

A new trailer for the upcoming documentary "You Can See Everything" offers a glimpse into convicted Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes' family life and her assertion of innocence. The film, which includes filmmaker Nathan Fielder living with Holmes, her partner Billy Evans, and their children, is set for release on October 16.

In the trailer, Fielder asks Holmes if she believes she did nothing wrong. "I did not," Holmes replies. When Fielder asks where things went wrong, Holmes states, "I wish I knew. I don't know. I don't feel like I understand that." The documentary was filmed in 2023, before Holmes began her prison sentence.

Holmes was found guilty in January 2022 on four counts of fraud related to her blood-testing startup, Theranos. Investors had poured millions into the company before its collapse. She received a sentence of over 11 years in prison. The documentary's synopsis describes the film as a "mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss," captured 34 days before Holmes began her sentence.

The trailer also shows Fielder interacting with Billy Evans, Holmes' partner. When asked if he suspected Holmes of lying, Evans responded, "No, never." Holmes, when questioned by Fielder about a filmmaker living with her family 24/7, said, "I don't think so," adding, "I think this is the moment in time to capture this story before I'm gone." In a final scene, Holmes tells Fielder, "I don't have anything to hide." The film is directed by Lance Oppenheim and co-directed by Nathan Fielder.
