House Judiciary Chair Jordan Seeks DOJ Prosecution of Jack Smith

WASHINGTON – Representative Jim Jordan, Republican of Ohio, and chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, has formally asked the Department of Justice to prosecute special counsel Jack Smith. Jordan's request stems from Smith's testimony before the committee in December.

Jordan alleged that Smith provided false statements during his appearance. Smith's lawyers, in response to these claims, stated that their client did not make any false statements.
