The City of Franklin welcomes a new officer to the force. Franklin Police Department's newest officer, Ethan Ross, was sworn in on Monday, April 13, 2026 at the Franklin City Commission Meeting by City Attorney Scott Crabtree.
We are pleased to announce that Carol Riggenbach, our current Finance Director, has been appointed to serve as Interim City Manager effective April 6, 2026, and continuing through the appointment of the permanent City Manager. Mrs. Riggenbach has demonstrated exceptional leadership, financial stewardship, and a deep commitment to the City of Franklin and the community throughout her tenure. Her extensive experience in municipal operations and her steady, collaborative approach make her well-suited to guide the city during this transition period. We extend our appreciation to Ms. Riggenbach for her willingness to assume these additional responsibilities and for her continued dedication to the city.
