A Veterans Resource Event, hosted by Lake County, will be held at the Eustis Community Center (601 Northshore Drive, Eustis) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on May 20th, 2026. The event will feature a Mobile Health Bus offering immunizations and wellness checks, informative speakers and presentations, veteran service providers with resource tables, and opportunities to connect directly with community organizations. The Town of Howey-in-the-Hills is currently in the process of updating its Parks and Recreation Master Plan. As part of this process, the Town is seeking public input to help guide the future of parks and recreation in our community. A public workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Howey Community Center. This workshop will provide an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts, ideas, and priorities for parks and recreation in Howey-in-the-Hills. We encourage all residents to attend this important workshop and help shape the future of our parks and recreation system. Your input is valuable and will help ensure that our parks and recreation facilities meet the needs of our community for years to come.
