At 636 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 miles south of Grandview Plaza to 4 miles west of Wilsey, moving northeast at 35 mph.
THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR Parkerville and Dwight.
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Public. At 630 PM CDT, a personal weather station measured wind gusts of 73 MPH 3 miles southeast of Grandview Plaza.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles. Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
Locations impacted include... Council Grove, White City, Dwight, Wilsey, Parkerville, and Council Grove Lake.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 306 and 316.
