Boil Water Notice: New Castle Lane Oviedo

Residents on New Castle Lane in Oviedo between Artesia Street and Mactavandash Drive must boil water for drinking, cooking, and ice-making until the city lifts the precautionary notice.

The City of Oviedo Public Works Department issued the notice May 14 after repairing a water main leak. Work began at 8:30 a.m., interrupting service to 15 homes throughout the day. Water has since been restored.

City officials sent samples to a lab for testing. Residents should boil water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and washing dishes. The city will announce when the notice is lifted via social media and door hangers.
