The Town of Weddington is set to honor its dedicated volunteers with a Celebration of Service on May 18th. The event will take place at Weddington Elementary School from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This gathering aims to recognize the contributions of individuals who volunteer within the community and to inspire more residents to get involved.
Attendees can expect a lively atmosphere with food trucks offering a variety of culinary options, live music, and engaging activities for all ages. The celebration is designed to be a fun and appreciative event for those who give their time and effort to make Weddington a better place.
Organizers hope the event will not only celebrate current volunteers but also serve as an invitation for others to discover opportunities to contribute their skills and time to local causes.
