Residents in the Northwest Plateau, Lake Havasu and Fort Mohave, Lake Mead (AZ and NV sides), Lake Mohave (AZ and NV sides), Hualapai Mountains, Northwest Deserts, Western Mojave Desert, Eastern Mojave Desert (including the Mojave National Preserve), Morongo Basin, Cadiz Basin, San Bernardino County-Upper Colorado River Valley, Northeast Clark County, Sheep Range, Spring Mountains-Red Rock Canyon, and Las Vegas Valley, Southern Clark County are advised to prepare for strong winds.

The National Weather Service Las Vegas NV has issued a Wind Advisory, effective from Sunday at 5 AM PDT /5 AM MST/ until Monday at 5 AM PDT /5 AM MST/. South winds are expected to reach 20 to 30 mph, with gusts potentially hitting between 45 and 55 mph.

These conditions can make driving challenging, particularly for high-profile vehicles. The National Weather Service urges extra caution on roadways. Additionally, unsecured outdoor objects could be blown around. Residents should take immediate action to secure any loose items around their property to prevent damage or injury. Tree limbs may also be blown down, and isolated power outages are possible.

A brief lull in winds is anticipated from late Saturday night through Sunday morning before strengthening again Sunday afternoon. Ensure all outdoor items are secured and drive safely during this period.
