Enjoy an evening of stargazing at Camp Helen State Park with the Northwest Florida Astronomers. The event will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. This is a free event. The Northwest Florida Astronomers will have telescopes and binoculars available for observations of the night sky. Club members will be on-hand to provide presentations on featured constellations and planets. Visitors are welcome to bring their own telescopes or binoculars. This is a family-friendly event. Learn from experienced club members as they share their knowledge of the night sky. This program is weather-dependent and will be canceled if there is inclement weather.

Panama City Beach is known for its beautiful beaches and family-friendly atmosphere. But did you know we also host one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the Southeast? Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally is a multi-day event that happens twice a year. In 2026, the spring rally will take place April 29th - May 3rd. Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts flock to the area to enjoy vendors, live music, bike shows, and competitions.

The hearing will be held on April 11, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 17009 Panama City Beach Parkway. The proposed amendment involves modifying the definition of “story” as it relates to building height measurements. The specific changes are to Section 2.02.00 "Definitions."
