October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Incorporated Village of Freeport invites you to join us as we come together to raise awareness, show support, and honor those who have been affected by breast cancer. Breast Cancer Awareness Walk – October 18, 2026 @ 8am Jones Beach Field 5 We encourage everyone to participate in our Breast Cancer Awareness Walk! Whether you are walking in honor of a loved one, celebrating a survivor, or simply showing your support, your participation makes a difference. Bake Sale – October 8, 2026 11am-3pm We will also be hosting a bake sale as part of our Breast Cancer Awareness activities. We welcome donations of baked goods and encourage everyone to stop by and purchase a sweet treat in support of this important cause! Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirt Orders Show your support by purchasing a Breast Cancer Awareness shirt or sweatshirt! We have several designs available for you to choose from. Please see the attached flyer and order form for available designs and ordering information. Battle of the Water Bottles – Department Challenge! Let's add a little friendly competition to our fundraising efforts! We are inviting all departments to participate in our Battle of the Water Bottles Challenge! The goal is simple: fill a water bottle with dimes, each filled bottle will equal $100! We challenge each department to collect as many dimes as possible and see who can raise the most money for Breast Cancer Awareness. The department that raises the most money will win a special prize! Is your department ready to take on the challenge? If your department is interested in participating, please let us know so we can provide you with our Breast Cancer Water Bottles & Sign! Every dime counts, and together we can make a difference!
