Residents in Colquitt and surrounding areas should complete all preparations for severe wind, major flooding, and the potential for numerous tornadoes.

A Flood Watch is also in effect, with an additional 3-6 inches of rain anticipated, leading to potential major flooding. Evacuations and rescues are likely. Heed all flood watches and warnings immediately. The NWS also indicates a very favorable situation for numerous tornadoes, with some potentially intense.
