Holladay Home Repair Loan Program - $220K Grant
Holladay is launching a Home Repair Loan Program funded by a $220,000 Community Development Block Grant from Salt Lake County Housing & Community Development Department.
Qualifying residents can borrow up to $25,000 at zero percent interest through five-year forgivable loans. Funds cover health and safety hazards, emergency repairs, accessibility modifications, and energy conservation improvements.
Homeowners must own and occupy their primary residence within city limits and meet income guidelines for low-to-moderate-income families. They cannot begin work, purchase materials, or sign contracts before receiving approval. Projects started before the award date are ineligible.
Homeowners who remain in their properties for five years owe nothing. Those who sell or transfer the property before the term ends must repay some or all of the loan.
Ann Frances Garcia administers the program. Residents can apply through the Northwest Community Development Corporation at nwsaltlake.org/home-improvement-loans. Garcia answers questions at [email protected] or 385-425-0853.
