Oakland Park Middle Schoolers Connect at Lakeview Camp

Oakland Park middle school students recently participated in a week-long camp designed to offer a refreshing break before the academic year. Organized and led by the LHC Students team, the event, named UNITED, took place at Lakeview Camp & Retreat Center.

The camp provided incoming middle schoolers with a blend of activities, worship services and Bible teachings. Organizers stated the program addresses the unique challenges and opportunities students face when transitioning into middle school. The initiative served as a reset, allowing students to connect and prepare for the upcoming school year in a supportive environment.

The UNITED camp is an annual program aimed at equipping middle school students with tools and encouragement for this significant educational stage. The LHC Students team consistently provides programming designed to foster spiritual development and peer connection.
