Homestead residents can participate in several municipal activities and community events on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026. The day includes a virtual bid opening for grant consulting services, a Special Master Hearing at City Hall, and the "Forever Loved: A Wave of Light Remembrance Event" in Losner Park.
The City of Homestead will open bids for RFP#202633, Grant Consulting Services, virtually from 1:59 p.m. to 2 p.m. Interested parties can join via Microsoft Teams. Dial-in options are available.
Following the bid opening, a Special Master Hearing will occur from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 100 Civic Court.
Later, the community is invited to the "Forever Loved: A Wave of Light Remembrance Event" in Losner Park, 104 N. Krome Avenue, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event offers a space for reflection and remembrance.
