Former Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes appears in a new documentary trailer, reiterating her belief that she "did not" do anything wrong. The film, titled 'You Can See Everything,' features filmmaker Nathan Fielder interacting with Holmes and her family.
In the trailer, Fielder asks Holmes, "You really feel you did nothing wrong?" She responds, "I did not." When Fielder asks where things went wrong, Holmes states, "I wish I knew. I don't know. I don't feel like I understand that." The footage was filmed in 2023, before Holmes reported to prison.
Holmes was convicted in January 2022 on four counts of fraud related to her blood-testing startup, Theranos. She defrauded investors of millions of dollars and received a sentence of over 11 years in prison.
The documentary, directed by Lance Oppenheim and featuring Fielder, is scheduled for release in theaters on October 16. The film's synopsis notes it was shot 34 days before Holmes began her prison sentence.
The trailer also shows Fielder with Holmes' partner, Billy Evans, who denies suspecting Holmes of lying to him. Holmes is heard in the trailer saying, "I don't have anything to hide." She previously shared a clip from the documentary on X, formerly Twitter, on September 6, stating, “I’m always being real.”
