ATSU-ASHS Professor Wins Dignity Health Award for Patient Care

Rachel Geoghegan, an assistant professor of athletic training at A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, received the Dignity Health Values in Action Excellence Award on April 27 at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

Dignity Health gave Geoghegan the award for her community engagement and patient care work. She holds a Doctor of Athletic Training degree and is a certified athletic trainer. The award recognizes employees and affiliates across Arizona who demonstrate the health system's core values in their work with patients and communities.
