Captain School Space Coast will offer a 100GT Masters Upgrade course on Sept. 22, 2026. The blended course includes 15 hours of online preparation followed by an in-person class day.
The Masters license is required for individuals transporting passengers on inspected vessels. These vessels need a Certificate of Inspection (COI) specifying passenger capacity and operational area. An applicant's prior vessel experience determines the scope of the upgrade.
The course covers Masters Licenses for 25, 50, and 100-ton capacities. The upgrade costs $435.00 and the price is valid until Sept. 18, 2027.
