Road ClosuresM-50/South Clinton Trail in Eaton Rapids will be closed just south of Bellevue Hwy beginning around October 7, 2024 for a box culvert replacement on the McGilvra Drain. All required permits from MDOT have been obtained, Central Dispatch and Public Schools will be notified, and signage for the detour should appear soon. The closure is anticipated to last approximately 5 weeks dependent on conditions. We apologize for the inconvenience. Vermontville Hwy will be closing beginning Thursday, October 17, 2024 between Canal and Gunnell for storm sewer removal and replacement. We hope to have the road back open to traffic at the end of the day with a gravel patch. Additional closures will be or Friday, October 18 to pave the patch back to asphalt. Final asphalting could be delayed until early next week depending on conditions. A posted detour is in place. We apologize for the inconvenience.
