Food Protection Program Licensing and inspecting any establishment that prepares, serves, packages, or sells food to the public is a long-standing environmental health program. Emphasis is placed not only on providing a clean environment, but temperature control, food handling, sanitizing techniques, and personal hygiene are also observed.
