Mechanicville School Board Election 2026

Mechanicville voters will elect two school board members on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Polls open from noon to 9 p.m. at the Jr./Sr. High School.

Scott D'Ambro, a Mechanicville High School graduate who taught elementary school for 41 years, is seeking a seat. His wife taught for 26 years, and their four sons attended Mechanicville schools. D'Ambro coordinated the Shenendehowa Summer Literacy/Jumpstart Program for over 20 years, supervising 34 teachers plus nursing and secretarial staff.

Kelly Morgan Pitcheralle, owner of Elle's Bridal Boutique on Park Avenue, is also running. She graduated from Mechanicville High School. Her husband, Gary Pitcheralle, serves as School Resource Officer and varsity baseball coach. Their two sons attend the elementary school.

The board election coincides with the annual budget vote on May 19.
