A Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service in Morristown, TN, effective immediately and continuing until 4:00 AM EDT on Sunday, October 11.
Residents in affected areas should secure any outdoor objects that could be blown around by strong winds. Driving may become difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles, and extra caution is advised.
Southeast winds of 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph, are expected. These conditions could lead to tree limbs being blown down and a few power outages. The highest gusts are anticipated in or near high terrain, with lower gusts in lower elevations.
