Martin County is partnering with DemandStar, an online platform designed to connect local governments with businesses nationwide. The initiative aims to streamline the process for vendors seeking to bid on county contracts and projects.
The DemandStar marketplace is now open and accessible to all businesses, offering immediate access to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), bids, quotes, and other opportunities with Martin County. By registering for a free account on DemandStar, businesses can view all current bids and quotes issued by the county.
Registered users will also receive automatic notifications directly to their inbox regarding new opportunities from Martin County. The platform allows for quick review of contractual terms and scope of work, with all required forms and documents conveniently located in one place.
This partnership is intended to broaden the reach of Martin County's procurement process, making it easier for local and national businesses to participate. It also aligns with Florida Statutes, Section 112.313(3) and (7), which prohibit advisory board members from conducting business with the County.
Businesses interested in participating should register for a free DemandStar account. Once registered, they can search for the agency name "Martin County Purchasing" to find available bids and more information.
For additional questions, Martin County encourages interested parties to use the "Submit a Request for Help or Information" button on the DemandStar platform.
