Residents should note several adjustments to city services and facilities in observance of the Labor Day holiday. The City Dump and City Offices experienced closures on Monday, September 7, 2026.
The City Dump was closed on Sunday, September 6, and Monday, September 7. It reopened on Tuesday, September 8, with extended hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Saturday, September 12. During this period, roll-off containers will be available to assist with city clean-up efforts.
City offices were closed on Monday, September 7. A City Council meeting, originally scheduled for Monday, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, September 8, at 6 p.m. This change accommodates holiday schedules and the availability of council members.
The local library also observed the holiday, remaining closed on Monday, September 7. Regular operating hours are expected to resume on Tuesday, September 8.
