Residents in Marshall, Roberts, Day, Codington, Grant, and Deuel Counties are advised to drive with extreme caution due to a Dense Fog Advisory. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Aberdeen, SD, issued the advisory on October 12 at 4:11 AM CDT, effective until 1:00 PM CDT today.

Visibility is expected to be one-quarter mile or less in the affected areas. This significantly reduced visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

If you must drive, the NWS recommends slowing down, using your headlights, and leaving plenty of distance between your vehicle and others. The advisory is in effect for Codington, Day, Deuel, Grant, Marshall, and Roberts Counties.
