Sumter County District 3 Commissioner I am honored to serve as a member of the Sumter County Board of County Commissioners, bringing a strong background in business ownership, hands-on leadership, and community involvement. I own both Tri-County Landscapes and DeSantis AC & Appliance, two locally operated companies that provide essential services and employment opportunities throughout the region. My experience as a small business owner gives me firsthand insight into the challenges and needs of local businesses, employees, and residents across Sumter County. I grew up in Leesburg and moved to Sumter County after my wife, Melissa, and I were married. We raised our five children here, and three of them have returned after college to work in one of our family businesses. We are also proud grandparents to three grandchildren. Over the years, we have given back to the community through our involvement with the Sumter County Fair, Sumter County Chamber of Commerce, Hospice of Sumter County, and by providing scholarships for our local middle and high schools. I am committed to responsible growth, fiscal accountability, and preserving the quality of life that makes Sumter County a great place to live and raise a family. I strive to serve with transparency, accessibility, and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset that reflects the priorities of the residents I represent. Commissioner Coon resides in District 3.
