Please, register only the child that would be attending. Ages 5 to 12 y/o. This event is made possible by the support and donations from the Friends of the Library. Frequently Asked Questions 1. Do we need to register for this event? Yes, registration is required to receive a backpack at this event. Click here to register for the Back to School Bash. 2. What ages can participate? This event is designed for children ages 5–12. 3. Is there a cost to attend? No. This event and all activities, including the backpacks, are completely free. 4. Will every child receive a backpack? Backpacks are available while supplies last for the children who are registered. We recommend arriving on time to ensure your child receives one. 5. What do we need to bring to sign up for a library card? Parents or guardians should bring a photo ID and proof of residency (such as a utility bill or piece of mail) to register their child for a library card. 6. Can siblings outside the age range attend? Younger or older siblings may come with the family but only children ages 5–12 are eligible for the backpacks. 7. Do parents/guardians need to stay during the event? Yes. A parent or guardian must remain with their child during the event. 8. Where will the event take place? At the Youth Library inside the Boynton Beach City Library located at 100 E. Ocean Avenue. Parking is free. 9. How long does the event last? Families are welcome to drop in during the event hours (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.).
