DiVincenzo Opens Renovated Parks Building in Newark

Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr. dedicated the restored Parks Administration Building in Newark on Thursday, marking the completion of a $12 million renovation project.

The work modernized the building's mechanical systems and office spaces while preserving its historic architectural features. The building serves as headquarters for the county's parks operations and houses staff managing the regional parks system.

Construction crews updated utilities and brought the facility to current standards while maintaining its character. The building is now back in full operation.
