The annual city-wide spring clean-up will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Memorial Park –  500 5 St. SE.The city WILL NOT accept household hazardous waste – paint, solvents, oils, lubricants, or any other type of chemical substance, batteries of any kind, containers containing any liquid, tires, yard waste, branches, leaves, etc.Residents will need to bring their items to the collection location and there will be a charge in accordance with the fee schedule below.Large appliances – washing machines, dryers, water heaters, stoves, etc. will be collected AT THE CURB.
